Cambuslang is a town located on the south-eastern outskirts of Greater Glasgow in Scotland. Situated within the local authority area of South Lanarkshire, it directly borders the town of Rutherglen to its west. The area historically functioned as a large civil parish that incorporated several nearby hamlets, including Newton, Flemington, Westburn, and Halfway.
With a population of approximately 30,000 residents, Cambuslang ranks as the 27th-largest town in Scotland. Because it has never had a town hall, it is sometimes characterized as the largest village in the country.
