Workington is a coastal port town and civil parish located in the Cumberland district of Cumbria, England. Situated on the west coast at the mouth of the River Derwent, it is positioned approximately 32 miles (51 km) south-west of Carlisle and 8 miles (13 km) north-east of Whitehaven.
