Wednesfield is a town and historic village located in the City of Wolverhampton within the county of the West Midlands, England. Historically, it was situated within the county of Staffordshire. The settlement is positioned approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) east-north-east of the Wolverhampton city centre and about 10 miles (16 km) from Birmingham.
The area includes several local neighborhoods, such as Ashmore Park and Wood End. A notable local feature is Wednesfield Park, which contains a formal garden.
