Thetford is a market town and civil parish located in the Breckland District of Norfolk, England. It is situated on the A11 road between London and Norwich, positioned just east of Thetford Forest.
The civil parish covers an area of 29.55 km2 (11.41 sq mi). According to 2011 census data, the population of the town was 24,340.
