Surbiton is a suburban neighbourhood located in South West London within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. It is situated next to the River Thames, approximately 11 miles (18 km) southwest of Charing Cross.
Historically part of the county of Surrey, Surbiton has been part of Greater London since 1965. The area comprises five wards: Alexandra, Berrylands, St. Mark's, Surbiton Hill, and Tolworth.
