Stotfold is a town and civil parish located in the Central Bedfordshire district of Bedfordshire, England. The town covers an area of 2,207 acres (8.93 km2) and is characterized by the River Ivel, which passes through its boundaries.
According to the 2021 census, the population of the parish was 9,014, while the wider built-up area—which includes the adjoining Fairfield Park development—had a population of 12,310. For postal purposes, Stotfold is categorized under the post town of Hitchin, placing it in the postal county of Hertfordshire despite its actual location in Bedfordshire.
