Stewartby is a model village and civil parish located in Bedfordshire, England. Originally established in 1926 as Wootton Pillinge, it was constructed to house the workers of the London Brick Company. The village was designed by company architect Mr. F.W. Walker based on "Garden City" principles, making it a more modern development than earlier Victorian model villages like Saltaire.
The parish currently includes Kempston Hardwick and features various architectural developments from different eras. This includes retirement bungalow developments from the 1950s and 1960s, which were designed by neo-Georgian architect Professor Sir Albert Richardson and include a pavilion community centre. Stewartby is noted for being a later model than the village of Woodlands, which was first planned in 1905.
