Solihull is a market town located in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull within the West Midlands county of England. It is situated on the River Blythe in the Forest of Arden area, positioned approximately 8 miles (13 km) southeast of Birmingham and 14 miles (23 km) west of Coventry.
As one of the major towns of the West Midlands conurbation centered around Birmingham, Solihull had a population of 126,577 according to the 2021 census. The wider metropolitan borough has a total population of 216,240.
