Rugeley is a market town and civil parish located in the Cannock Chase District of Staffordshire, England. It is situated on the north-eastern edge of Cannock Chase adjacent to the River Trent.
The town is positioned approximately eight miles north of Lichfield, 10 miles southeast of Stafford, five miles northeast of Hednesford, and 11 miles southwest of Uttoxeter. According to the 2021 Census, Rugeley had a population of 26,156.
