Rothley is a village and civil parish located within the Borough of Charnwood in Leicestershire, England. It is situated approximately five miles north of the city of Leicester and lies about one-half mile west of the River Soar.
According to census data, the population of Rothley grew from 3,612 inhabitants in 2001 to 3,897 by the 2011 census.
