Purton is a large village and civil parish located in north Wiltshire, England. It is situated approximately 4 miles (6 km) northwest of the center of Swindon.
The parish encompasses several distinct areas, including the village of Purton Stoke as well as the hamlets of Bentham, Hayes Knoll, Purton Common, Restrop, The Fox, and Widham.
