Potton is a town and civil parish located in the Central Bedfordshire district of Bedfordshire, England. It is situated approximately 10 miles (16 km) east of the county town of Bedford. The parish includes the hamlet of Deepdale and had a recorded population of 5,728 in 2021.
The town features historical landmarks such as the parish church of St Mary, which dates back to the 13th century. Historically, Potton was known for hosting some of the largest horse fairs in the country. The town also experienced a significant fire in 1783 that destroyed a large portion of its buildings.
