Potters Bar is a town located in Hertfordshire, England. It is situated approximately 13 miles (21 km) north of central London.
The town is divided into four wards: Bentley Heath & The Royds, Furzefield, Oakmere, and Parkfield. These wards encompass several smaller outlying hamlets, including Bentley Heath and Ganwick Corner. According to the 2021 census, the combined population of these areas was 22,536, while the estimated population in 2022 was approximately 23,325.
