Otley is a market town and civil parish located at a bridging point on the River Wharfe in West Yorkshire, England. It is situated within the City of Leeds metropolitan borough and lies in lower Wharfedale along the A660 road, which provides a connection to Leeds.
The town consists of two distinct parts: the historic town of Otley located south of the river and Newall, which was formerly a separate township, situated to the north. According to the 2011 census, the population of the area was 13,668.
