Ormskirk is a market town situated in the West Lancashire district of Lancashire, England. It is located approximately 13 miles northeast of Liverpool, 11 miles northwest of St Helens, 9 miles southeast of Southport, and 18 miles southwest of Preston.
The town is notably recognized for its gingerbread. As of the 2011 census, Ormskirk had a recorded population of 24,073 residents.
