Oborne is a village and civil parish located in north west Dorset, England. It is situated approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) northeast of Sherborne, just north of the A30 road, and lies near the border with Somerset.
According to the 2011 census, the parish had a population of 101 residents. Oborne shares a grouped parish council, known as the Yeohead & Castleton Parish Council, with the village parishes of Poyntington, Goathill, and Castleton.
