Morden is a district and town located in South London, England. It currently sits within the London Borough of Merton in the ceremonial county of Greater London. Geographically, it is situated approximately 8 miles (13 km) south-southwest of Charing Cross.
The area adjoins Merton Park and Wimbledon to the north, Mitcham to the east, Sutton to the south, and Worcester Park to the west. Before the establishment of Greater London in 1965, Morden was part of the administrative and historic county of Surrey for local government purposes.
