Mirfield is a town and civil parish located in the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees within West Yorkshire, England. Historically, the area was part of the West Riding of Yorkshire. It sits along the A644 road, positioned between the towns of Brighouse and Dewsbury.
The town forms part of the Heavy Woollen District. According to the 2011 census, Mirfield had a population of 19,563 residents.
