Minety is a village located in north Wiltshire, England. It is situated between the town of Malmesbury to the west, approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) away, and the town of Swindon.
The village derives its name from the water mint plant that grows in local ditches. Historically, the settlement has also been known by the name Myntey. Local amenities include a primary school and a successful rugby club.
