Maldon

Maldon is a town and civil parish located on the Blackwater Estuary in Essex, England. It serves as the seat of the Maldon District and marks the starting point of the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation.

The area is notably recognized for its production of Maldon Sea Salt. According to the 2021 census, the parish had a population of 14,938, while the broader Maldon built-up area—which includes Heybridge to the north—had a population of 23,380.
