Kempston is a town and civil parish located in the Borough of Bedford within the county of Bedfordshire, England. It is situated approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) south-west of the Bedford town centre and forms an integral part of the wider Bedford built-up area.
The River Great Ouse serves as a geographical boundary, separating Kempston from the Queen's Park area of Bedford. According to the 2011 census, the town had a population of 19,330 residents.
