The Humber, also known as the River Humber, is a large tidal estuary located on the east coast of Northern England. It is formed at Trent Falls in Faxfleet by the confluence of the tidal rivers Ouse and Trent.
The estuary remains tidal throughout its entire length, extending to the North Sea. It serves as a geographical boundary between the East Riding of Yorkshire on the north bank and North Lincolnshire on the south bank.
