Huddersfield

Huddersfield is a town located in the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees within West Yorkshire, England. It serves as the administrative centre and represents the largest settlement in the Kirklees district. The town is situated in the foothills of the Pennines.

The geography of the area is defined by several rivers. To the south of the town centre, the River Holme meets the similar-sized Colne. This combined flow continues toward the north-eastern outskirts of the town, where it flows into the Calder.
