Heckmondwike

Heckmondwike is a town located in the Kirklees district of West Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 9 miles (14 km) southwest of Leeds and lies in close proximity to the towns of Cleckheaton and Liversedge. Historically, the area was part of the West Riding of Yorkshire.

The town forms part of the Heavy Woollen District and is located within the Spen Valley parliamentary constituency. According to census data, the population grew from an estimated 16,986 in 2011 to 18,149 in 2021.
