Hebron

Hebron is a city located in the southern West Bank, Palestine. It serves as the capital of the Hebron Governorate, which is the largest governorate in the West Bank. The city is situated approximately 30 kilometers (19 mi) south of Jerusalem and spans an area of 74.1 square kilometers (28.6 sq mi).

As the third largest city in the country after Gaza and East Jerusalem, Hebron has a population of 201,063 within its city limits, while the adjacent metropolitan area exceeds 700,000 people. The city is historically significant as one of the Four Holy Cities in Judaism and is also a site of veneration in both Christianity and Islam.
