Heanor is a town located in the Amber Valley district of Derbyshire, England. It is situated approximately 8 miles (13 km) north-east of the city of Derby.
The town forms part of the civil parish and town council-administered area of Heanor and Loscoe along with the adjacent village of Loscoe. According to the 2011 census, this combined area had a population of 17,251.
