Hanwell is a town located in the London Borough of Ealing within the United Kingdom. Situated approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west of Ealing Broadway, it serves as the westernmost location of the London post town.
As of the 2011 census, Hanwell had a recorded population of 28,768 residents. The area is characterized by its geographical position on the western edge of the metropolitan region.
