Grantham is a market town and civil parish located in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated on the banks of the River Witham and is bounded to the west by the A1 road. The town is positioned approximately 23 miles (37 km) south of Lincoln and 22 miles (35 km) east of Nottingham.
As of 2016, the population of Grantham was 44,580. It serves as the administrative centre for the South Kesteven District and is recognized as the largest settlement within that area.
