Golders Green is a suburb located in the London Borough of Barnet in northwest London. It is situated approximately 5.6 miles (9 km) northwest of Charing Cross.
The historical origins of Golders Green date back to a medieval small suburban linear settlement established near a farm and a public grazing area known as a green. The majority of the current suburb was developed during the late Victorian and early Edwardian periods, centered on a commercial crossroads, with additional development occurring in later years.
