Featherstone is a town and civil parish located in the City of Wakefield within West Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately two miles south-west of Pontefract and was historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire.
As of 2011, the population of Featherstone was recorded at 15,244. The town is served by Featherstone railway station, which is located on the Pontefract Line.
