Exeter is a cathedral city and the county town of Devon located in South West England. It is situated on the River Exe, positioned approximately 36 miles (58 km) northeast of Plymouth and 65 miles (105 km) southwest of Bristol.
As of 2024, Exeter has a population of 138,399. It serves as the second largest settlement in the county of Devon, following Plymouth.
