Evington is an area located in Leicester, England, within the ceremonial county of Leicestershire. It serves as an electoral ward of the Leicester district and currently has a population of 17,268 according to the 2021 census.
Originally a small village centered on Main Street and the Anglican church of St Denys, Evington transitioned into one of the outer suburbs of Leicester during the 1930s. The modern ward encompasses the historical village area as well as the contemporary ex-council estates of Rowlatts Hill and Goodwood.
