Edith Weston

Edith Weston is a village and civil parish located in the county of Rutland within the East Midlands region of England. It is situated on the south-eastern shore of Rutland Water.

The village serves as home to the area's main sailing club and a fishing lodge. According to census data, the population of the civil parish was 1,042 in 2001 and grew to 1,359 by 2011.

The name of the village is derived from Edith of Wessex, who was the sister of Harold Godwinson and the queen of Edward the Confessor.
