East Grinstead is a town located in West Sussex, England. It is situated in the northeast corner of the county, bordering Surrey and positioned near the borders of East Sussex and Kent. The town lies approximately 27 miles (43 km) south of London, 21 miles (34 km) northeast of Brighton, and 38 miles (61 km) northeast of Chichester.
The civil parish covers an area of 2,443.45 hectares. According to the 2011 Census, the town had a population of 26,383 residents.
