Earley is a town and civil parish located in the Borough of Wokingham, Berkshire, England. Situated approximately 3 miles (5 km) south and east of Reading and about 4 miles (6 km) northwest of Wokingham, it consists of several smaller areas, including Lower Earley and Maiden Erlegh.
For local government purposes, the town falls within the Borough of Wokingham, though the Office for National Statistics classifies it as part of the Reading/Wokingham Urban Area along with the neighboring town of Woodley. According to the 2011 Census, Earley had a population of 32,036.
