Dukinfield is a town located in the Metropolitan Borough of Tameside within Greater Manchester, England. It is situated on the south bank of the River Tame, directly opposite the town of Ashton-under-Lyne, at a distance of approximately 6.3 miles (10.1 km) east of Manchester.
According to the 2021 census conducted by the Office for National Statistics, the built-up area of Dukinfield had a population of 21,155 residents.
