Corsenside is a large parish located in Northumberland, United Kingdom. The area is primarily characterized by vast expanses of farmland and rolling hills rather than urban development. It contains three small villages—West Woodburn, East Woodburn, and Ridsdale—which together house a population of approximately 600 inhabitants.
The parish runs alongside the A68 road, situated about 17 miles (27 km) north of Corbridge. This roadway roughly follows the historical route of the old Roman Dere Street. The region features several historic points of interest, including the remains of the Roman Camp of Habitancum and Bell Knowe, an Iron Age burial site. Additionally, the area contains the remains of the Ridsdale Iron Works, which was prominent during the Industrial Revolution.
