Clevedon is a seaside town and civil parish located within the unitary authority of North Somerset in England. Situated along the Severn Estuary, the area is characterized by several small hills, including Church Hill, Wain's Hill, Dial Hill, Strawberry Hill, Castle Hill, Hangstone Hill, and Court Hill. Notably, some of these hills are designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest due to overlaid Pleistocene deposits.
The town has historical roots dating back to at least 1086, when it was mentioned in the Domesday Book. During the Victorian period, Clevedon developed significantly as a popular seaside resort. As of the 2021 census, the town had a population of 21,398.
