It also contains Fuller's Brewery, which is recognized as London's largest and oldest brewery.
The River Thames meanders through the area, serving as a site for recreational and competitive rowing. Several rowing clubs are situated along the river bank, and the finishing post for the Boat Race is located just downstream of Chiswick Bridge.
