Camberley is a town located in north-west Surrey, England. It is situated approximately 29 miles south-west of central London within the Borough of Surrey Heath. The town sits near the county boundaries with Hampshire and Berkshire.
Originally known as "Cambridge Town," the settlement was officially assigned its current name by the General Post Office in 1877.
