Brockley is a district and electoral ward located in south London, England, within the London Borough of Lewisham. It is situated approximately 5 miles (8 km) south-east of Charing Cross.
The area is characterized by its rich Victorian and Edwardian domestic architecture, historic trees, original lanes, and mews. These features are preserved under a conservation area and the oversight of the Brockley Society. The district is noted for having a strong community with many popular cafes and restaurants, and it was named the best area of London to live in in 2021.
Transportation in the area is served by a station located on both the mainline railway and the Windrush line. Future infrastructure plans include a proposal from the London Borough of Lewisham's Draft Local Implementation Plan 2019–41 to link this station to the Victoria to Dartford line by 2030.
