Bridgwater

Bridgwater is a historic market town and civil parish located in Somerset, England. It is situated on the River Parrett at the edge of the Somerset Levels.

According to the 2021 census, the parish had a population of 38,310, while the wider built-up area recorded a population of 47,860. The town is notable for hosting an annual carnival in November, which is recognized as the largest of the Somerset carnivals.
