Bradford

Bradford is a city located in West Yorkshire, England, within the United Kingdom. It was established as a municipal borough in 1847 and officially received its city charter in 1897. Since the administrative reforms of 1974, the city status has been associated with the larger City of Bradford metropolitan borough.

According to the 2021 census, the city itself had a population of 352,317, making it the second-largest subdivision of the West Yorkshire Built-up Area after Leeds. The wider metropolitan borough recorded a population of 546,976 in the same census, identifying it as one of the most populous districts in England.
