Biggleswade is a market town and civil parish located in Central Bedfordshire, England. It is situated on the River Ivel, approximately 11 miles (18 km) south-east of the city of Bedford.
The population of the town grew significantly between census periods, rising from 16,551 in 2011 to 22,541 by the time of the 2021 United Kingdom census. This represents a 36% increase over the decade.
