Battersea is a large district located in southwest London, England. It forms part of the London Borough of Wandsworth and is situated approximately 3.5 miles (5.6 km) southwest of Charing Cross.
The district extends along the south bank of the Thames Tideway. One of its most notable geographical features is Battersea Park, which covers an area of 200 acres (0.81 km2).
