Avebury is a Neolithic henge monument located in Wiltshire, situated in south-west England. It surrounds the village of Avebury and serves as one of the most well-known prehistoric sites in Britain.
The site contains three stone circles and features the largest megalithic stone circle in the world. In addition to its status as a major tourist attraction, it remains a location of religious importance for contemporary pagans.
