Aston is an area located in inner Birmingham within the metropolitan West Midlands of England. Historically, the area was situated within Warwickshire and functioned as an independent parish known as Aston-juxta-Birmingham prior to 1911.
The area currently constitutes a ward within the Birmingham metropolitan authority. It is positioned immediately to the north-west of the Birmingham city centre.
