Alveston

Alveston is a village and civil parish located in South Gloucestershire, England. It serves as a former royal manor and currently has a population of approximately 3,000 people as of 2014. The village is situated roughly 1 mile south of Thornbury and 10 miles north of Bristol.

The civil parish of Alveston also encompasses the villages of Rudgeway and Earthcott. Additionally, the village maintains a twinning relationship with Courville sur Eure in France.
