Addingham is a village and civil parish located in the City of Bradford within West Yorkshire, England. It is situated in the valley of the River Wharfe, positioned approximately 1 mile (2 km) from the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The village lies near the A65 road, roughly 3 miles (5 km) west of Ilkley and 10 km south-east of Skipton.
Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, the name Addingham is believed to mean "homestead associated with a man called Adda." However, early records in the Domesday Book refer to the village as "Ediham," which may have been a reference to Earl Edwin of Bolton Abbey. According to census data, the population was 3,599 in 2001 and grew to 3,730 by 2011.
