Port-Gentil, also known as Mandji, is the second-largest city in Gabon. It is situated on a delta island within the Ogooue delta in the country's Ogooué-Maritime region. The city is located near Cape Lopez, which serves as Gabon's westernmost point.

The city functions as a leading seaport and serves as the primary center for Gabon's petroleum and timber industries. According to the 2013 census, Port-Gentil had a population of 136,462 residents.
